Wraparound Care
This service is run by Bovington Academy and exists to provide high quality wrap-around childcare for our parents/carers.
Our aim is to provide quality wrap around childcare that is safe and promotes good educational and healthy outcomes for those that attend and that is convenient and value for money for working parents/carers and those that want to make use of the facility.
It provides a range of stimulating and creative activities in a safe environment. The club operates from 8 am – 8.30am and from 3.15pm – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday. Term time only.
As a school, we are committed to supporting families by offering high-quality, flexible childcare options at an affordable rate. We are also mindful of the financial pressures many families face, and it is important to us that we have maintained our current pricing for the past five years. However, due to rising operational costs, we now find it necessary to make a small increase to our Wraparound Care charges in order to continue delivering a safe, well-staffed, and enriching service. Our prices are still lower than other local provisions.
From 1st September 2025, the revised pricing will be as follows:
- Breakfast club (8.00am – 8.30am): No change (£4)
- Afterschool Club (3:15pm – 4:15pm): £5
- Wraparound Care (3:15pm – 5:30pm): £7.50
- Wraparound Care following a school-run after school club (4:15pm – 5:30pm): £5
- Casual/Emergency Booking Fee (bookings made with less than 48 hours’ notice): £10
- There is a fee of £10 per part hour for persistent late collection of children
We understand that changes to pricing can cause concern, and we want to reassure you that we have taken great care to keep increases as minimal as possible.
